Exhaust Wrap

• Clean the pipe/s first - no rust, grease, oil, dirt, flaking paint.
  
• Attach all mounting brackets to the exhaust pipe/s before wrapping.
  
• Use stainless steel ties or clamps that can handle the heat generated by motorcycle exhaust.
  
• Generally, use narrower wrap (one inch) for smaller displacement bikes or pipes with tight bends; use wider wrap (two inch) for larger bikes.
  
• Wet the wrap before applying.
  
• Wrap from the back of the pipe to the front.
  
• When hot, the wrap will smoke and stink for a little while. It's not a big deal if you're expecting it; it's a little unnerving if you're not.
