EXPLOSION® is the strength and conditioning program of the Chicago Bulls and the Chicago White Sox. The Bulls/White Sox Training Academy is the only place where you can perform the exact drills that both the Bulls and Sox use with their players.

 

EXPLOSION® trains movements, not just muscles, which translates into functional strength and that means increased athletic performance. Working to develop the whole athlete, not just one segment. Athletic qualities are like pieces of a puzzle. When all the pieces fit together the picture reveals a complete athlete. If any of the pieces are missing the picture is incomplete and the athlete will not perform to their full potential.

 

You can be trained to run faster, throw harder, swing faster, jump higher and sustain high level output for a longer period of time. Increasing first step quickness and jumping ability means more rebounds, points and better defense. Likewise the baseball/fastpitch player knows how many more "bang-bang" plays at first will go his/her way by decreasing home-to-first times by just one-tenth second (approx. 2 feet).  Increase bat speed by 10% and a 300 foot lazy fly ball becomes a 365 foot extra base hit. Add arm speed for the pitcher, shortstop and center fielder and...well, you get the point.
