F4: Exposed ~ The Men Behind the Characters

Lee Min Ho is a South Korean actor who played the role of Goo Joon Pyo -- the leader of F4 -- in the Korean adaptation of the popular manga series, Hana Yori Dango, entitled Boys Over Flowers, in 2009.

This 2011, Lee Min Ho will take on the lead role in the Korean TV drama, City Hunter .

Jun Matsumoto is a popular Japanese actor who played the role of DomYouji Tsukasa in the Japanese live version of Hana Yori Dango. Jun, as he is popularly known, is also a singer and part of the group, ARASHI.

Jun is one of the Japanese actors acclaimed for being dedicated to his works.

Jerry Yan is one of Taiwan's most popular actors. He played the role of Dao Ming Si in the Taiwanese drama, Meteor Garden -- the first ever live adaptation of the manga, Hana Yori Dango.

Jerry started out as a model then later on became an actor. He is also part of the group, F4, which has been so famous in Asia and has released different albums.

Kim Hyun Joong (Gim Hyeon Jung) is one of Korea's hottest actors nowadays. He played the role of Yoon Ji Hoo -- the silent-type member of F4 who first captured the heart of Jandi in Korea's adaptation of Hana Yori Dango. I have first seen Hyun Joong in the TV show, "We Got Married" wherein he was paired with the beautiful Hwang Bo. Hyun Joong was also the reason why I watched the Korean Drama, Boys Over Flowers.

Hyun Joong is part of the group, SS501.

He also took the lead role of the Korean drama, Playful Kiss which is the Korean version of "It Started with a Kiss" in 2010

Oguri Shun is an award-winning Japanese actor who has truly given justice to his role as Hanazawa Rui. Although he has hit the big screen when he was 13, it was not until he played the character of Hanazawa Rui that he was truly recognized by the fans. He is also popular with his role in Crows Zero. I have also watched him in his first stint, Gokusen which was a hit drama in 2002. He is also part of the Gokusen: MOvie which premiered in 2009.

In 2009, he has became a full fledge director. The first movie he directed is Surely Someday which was aired in 2010.

Vic Zhou is a Taiwanese actor, singer and model. His first ever TV drama is Meteor Garden which has brought him fame to the highest level. He may be the first love of the young girls back in 2000. With his lovable role as Hua Ze Lei, he has rocked not only the young girl's heart but all who watched the drama.

When Meteor Garden came to an end, his group -- F4 has toured Asia to fulfill all the young girl's dream -- to watch them in person. Two years later, the continuation of Meteor Garden was again aired.

Currently, he is part of the TV drama, Hui Jia.

Ken Chu was born in Taiwan on January 15, 1979 and educated in Singapore. A famous Mandopop singer and composer, he is one of the members of the famous Taiwanese boy band F4 and also a prominent Taiwanese drama actor.

Ken speaks not only Mandarin, but also English and Cantonese.

Ken was working as a waiter in a small restaurant in Taiwan when he was discovered by Cai Zhi Ping, the creator of the boy band F4. He started in showbiz working as a part time as an assistant for some artists, then acting in several idol series successfully which pushed him to the center of the stage. Van Ness Wu is a Taiwanese American actor, singer, director, producer based in Asia. He was born on August 7, 1978, in Santa Monica, United States, and speaks fluent English and Mandarin.

Vanness started his career by acting in the famous series "Meteor Garden". He was seen by the producers of Meteor Garden in a male pageant on Super Sunday, a popular Taiwanese variety show. They cast him as Mei Zhuo, a sly and playful guy who valued friendships. His lines in Meteor Garden proved to be a bit difficult for him since he was not quite fluent in Mandarin, yet his English proved to be very useful in his music career.

As a member of Taiwanese boyband F4/JVKV, he has appeared on three albums. He has also released three solo albums, and collaborated with Korean star Kangta to produce one album, "Scandal." He has also been featured on singles by Beyoncé and Coco Lee.

On February 14,2004 "Valentines Day" Van Ness Wu hosted the Mtv Asia Awards along side international star Michelle Branch. The event was star studded with over 7,000 in attendance.

Van Ness descended upon Shanghai on November 3, 2008 and performed with Rapper/Producer Kanye West for his final installment of the Glow in the Dark Tour. Wu opened the concert for Kanye with an amazing 30 minute performance which he showcased his new songs and performed new versions of his old hits. Van Ness ended the performance with "Good Life" along side Kanye.
