Ferguson Family Reunions and Get Togethers

Since 1985, The Ferguson Family clan have gotten together with hosting reunions bianually in various states. Our fist such reunion was held in Clinton, South Carolina and our last reunion, last in 2007, was held in Buskhill, Pa. In between the two years, I look forward to these reunions. It is 2009, and this year we are heading back to Clinton, SC for the second time. Reason: it's a recession and it is cheaper--so no Mrytle Beach this time around! FFC Reunion History: First there was the Ferguson Family Circle. This organization was established by the Ferguson sisters: Amanda, Ara, Mary and Eva. In the words of Collier Duncan, "The Ferguson clan would gather their people together to laugh, rejoice and share in the strength and unity of the family.

Wow, you had your first reunion in Clinton SC! That is just down the road a piece from me. We are having our next reunion in Pendleton SC and I made a lens about Our Tate Family Reunion. I enjoyed reading about your Ferguson Family Reunion.

This brings back such wonderful memories of the reunioin. Ashley is traveling in France this year and called to ask thank the family for instilling in her a sense of history. Apparently, her fellow world traveling students (French, Spanish, English, Ghanaian students) know their family history and ... now, discussions of family history are no longer just old folk talk.
