I stumbled upon ebid auctions quite by accident, and what a fortunate accident it was. With auction fees rising all the time at the other auction houses, eBid is a real breath of fresh air, you can join as a seller plus, for a small 'one off' fee, and have NO more auction fees for life. NO kidding!!

FREE AUCTIONS AT eBid ARE AWESOME. Imagine what you can do to boost your buisness, using the money you will save in auction fees! Interested? Then read on.....

*You really can list items for sale, for FREE, with NO FEES when you sell. You can list as much as you want, and still pay nothing. People say you can't get anything worthwhile for free.......they are wrong.



*If you are serious about selling at online auctions, and want a thumbnail picture with your auction listings, you can add one for a few cents (just 5 AU cents, far better value than other sites).

*New listings spend some time on the front page for FREE, it is incredible value. (Just how much have you paid on ebay!?!?!?).



*The BEST way to list, is to become a seller+, which means, you just pay ONE fee, ONCE (about $50 AU at the moment, probably less than a months GREEDBAY fees for most sellers!). Then you can have all your auctions listed for FREE. Then you just pay a very small commission on sales, and you can have up to 5 stores, and there are NO extra fees for doing so........it is just sooooo good, I could wax lyrical for ages.

*If you want to pay a few cents to add extra photos (5 AU cents each), or list for 24 hours on the frontpage (75 AU cents, what a bargain!), you can of course, but you needn't do this for many auctions, in order to get the attention of buyers.......goodness it is so cheap!

* The staff at eBid listen when you have a problem or a suggestion. They really DO help, talking to them is not just a waste of time like other online auction sites.

*The site is growing all the time, with local and regional sites. There are now over 2,400,000 listings.



*If you have goods to list that don't fit an existing category, you just have to ask, and a new category will be added for you! Now that's helpful!

*It is easy to list once you get the hang of it, much faster than other sites, and it is easy to set up a store.

Garage sales aren't for everyone, you have people knocking on your door from 5:30 in the morning, and then they only want to give you 50 cents in total for everything they can carry!
Having your garage sale on-line is a much better option..........apart for the auction fees.
If you have some pre-loved items that you no longer have room for, but are too good to throw away, and you don't want to be saddled with a mountain of ebay fees, you could join ebid as a seller plus, for a one time fee. Then you can have up to 5 stores (one for each member of the family maybe?) and never pay auction fees again.

I also list my husband's books for sale on eBid. I am unashamedly his biggest fan! Lloyd is holding his book in the picture above.
Lloyd's unique and original lateral thinking puzzles, are great for keeping your mind active, and though the answers are logical, they are far more entertaining than straight logic puzzles, as they are quirky, usually have an interesting twist, and will make you laugh. I think of them as medicine for your mind, but without the bad after taste.
