Faerie Garden Fancies

The matriarch of the Family at Faerie Gardens is Jacqueline. She runs Copper Clad Treasures, an assortment of blogs, and manages to keep all the rest of us up & running in tip top shape! The secondary matriarch of the family would be me. As my bio states, I am the artsy one, trying so hard to not be a *starving* artist - I mean it's so cliché!

The man of the house is Antonio. Engineer and techie, Ant is quick to make repairs around the house, and get things off the high shelf, as long as we can pry him away from the computer!

Next comes Esme, quickly surpassing me in artistic skill; her current obsessions are role playing, Power Puff Girls Z, Care Bears, and horses. Keep an eye out for books written and illustrated by this up-and-coming talent!

Following in her mother's helpful footsteps is JoAnn. She's always eager to lend a hand with cleaning and organizing, but her real passions are cooking and animals. She is a true realist and keeps the rest of us firmly grounded in the here and now when we are tempted to get too caught up in our flights of fancy.

The baby of the family, tragically for the rest of her life (mebbe), is Lia. Outspoken, effusive, and facetious Lia tires us all out with her boundless energy. Dancing, singing, and playing elaborate games with her family & friends are some of her favorite things to do.

Also included in our diverse family is Bunny, Royal Pain in the - erm, I mean - Queen of the Gardens, the long haired beauty in feline form who has been with me since 1995; Ten (short for Tenacious Kitty), seen as the young usurper by Bunny, and who joined us in 2005, former runt of her litter; Saten, grumpy old tomcat panther who showed up early in the winter of 2006 and refused to leave; Allie the Wonder Pig - I mean Guinea pig - beautiful siren of the Gardens who serenades us daily with queaks and whistles demanding attention and apples; and an assortment of faeries, strays, and wildlife that inspire our dreams and our artwork throughout the ever-changing wheel of the year...
