The Fairfax County Public Schools is presently in the news.

We are told that students at Saratoga Elementary School were held "hostage?" by the school.

We hear the school also refused to release workers too. More drama occured When parents and Guardians went into the school to physically bring out their children...

They were told they could not bring the children out and that they too couldn't leave.

They were not even permitted to see their children.
The questions here is...can a school deny parents or guardians from seeing their children who are below 18 years of age?

Can the Saratoga Elementary School or any school deny a parent/guardian the right to their children?

It seems Fairfax County held these children against not only their will, but the will of their parents. We hear there were little kids crying since they weren't allowed to see their parents or guardians.

The Fairfax County Public School System should reevaluate their rules with regards to parents/guardians rights to their children. This just isn't right if it happened.
