The Fairmont has now announced it plans to build a Fairmont Residences on Anguilla in conjunction with the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club of Anguilla. This new resort will be in the Forest Bay area of Anguilla which is on the southern coast in an area of 400 acres. Completion will be sometime in 2010.

As with many other resort projects being undertaken on Anguilla right now the  resort will encompass the Fairmont hotel and Fairmont Residences, a collection of condominiums, villas and estate homes.

The hotel will have 140 rooms and suites, a spa, dining rooms, a beach club, pools and meeting space.
