This lens is dedicated to one of a kind artists and collectors who enjoy the art of fantasy in the form of fairies, elves, pixies, witches, and characters of myth and lore. Here you will find hand sculpt creations and one of a kind dolls of faeryland. Each doll is a hand crafted, uniquely beautiful one of a kind (ooak) work of art. This site will feature Fairy Housing and links to friends of the fae, as well OOAK Doll Artists who specialize in the Theme of the Fae. Although the wonderful artists of eBay are featured within, all friends of the fae are welcome here.

Lithophanes were concived in 1827, when it was discovered that a remarkable three dimensional image could be produced by shining light through a carving of varied thickness in porcelain. These beautiful transparencies are achieved by first carving the image into beeswax. The translucency of the wax allows the artist to see the results of his labor while he works.
