Fake Lashes - A Makeup Must Have!

As a makeup artist I can honestly say every woman should experiment with false eyelashes at least once in their lifetime! If you haven't already, you just may be surprised at how something so simple can make such a dramatic difference with your eye makeup.

Now, personally, for me, fake lashes are not an everyday makeup staple but more of a special occasion accessory. For some however, false eyelashes may be a necessity, especially for those who were not blessed with long, full lashes or may not have eyelashes due to Alopecia or chemotherapy.

Types of False Eyelashes

How to Choose the Best False Lashes

There are 3 types of False Eyelashes;

Strip Lashes - the most noticeable, strip eyelashes are one full strip of lashes. These are the easiest and quickest to apply and give a dramatic appearance, best for evening makeup.

Single Flare Lashes - flare eyelashes are more natural looking than strip eyelashes. Flare Eyelashes are applied alone near the outer ends of the eye to add a natural looking flare or combined for fuller looking eyelashes.

Single Eyelashes - the most natural looking eyelash extension, single lashes are applied directly to your existing lashes.

Strip Lashes

Available in everything from natural to over the top, strip lashes can be a fun and bold makeup look! Perfect for evening makeup, costumes or just for fun.
