I am a budding fantasy author who has chosen to utilize the ebook format for the release of my first title. As such I have a vested interest in help bringing greater awareness for consumers to the benefits of ebooks with discussion on current issues that are involved with the scene, my own product development and new avenues and technology that we can explore so that fantasy fans can always get their fix. As I always say I'm about mixing, fantasy, business and gaming so that others can experience the same joy that I have had all these years. I'm the author of...
First of the High Kings is a fantasy novel that details one of the crucial moments in the history of the Dwarven race. Set within the first age and when the Dwarven race was at its height the tale takes you through the unification of the Dwarven nations and subsequent civil war that erupts as the gods play their hands against one another through the use of their mortal followers. These events were to define the Dwarven people as they have eternally remained divided between those of the surface world and those who have been driven deep within the bowls of the earth.
My book
Although there are many different types of formats for ebooks there has been a push of recent years to try and standardize them. One of the leaders in this push is Amazon with their Kindle (now Kindle2) reader, which utilizes the mobipocket format. Although at this stage the Kindle is only usable in the United States, Amazon are trying to expand into the EU if they can get the technology compatible.
My writing process
To me the writing process needs to be driven by inspiration, find what it is you love and then explore it. Look to feed your mind and creativity and then the words and pictures in your mind will flow to the page your working on. Very few times have I ever encountered writers block, more often than not its life that gets in the way of writing, but I have come to realize that on the occasions that I did it was driven by not having enough detail to the surrounds, situation or characters so for anyone else who stumbles across that dreaded time just look to develop the situation to greater depth in your mind.

As with many of you to me fantasy holds so many different mediums to explore from books to films to games of which this is the latest PC MMO that I am spending my spare time on, give it a crack if you enjoy a good PC game.
