Description

This is a tutorial on how to avoid giving your email to farmville when sticking them with a fake email address. That should stop those little s.o.b.'s.

This also works with the passcode lock box.

step 1

First, create a new email address at www.gmail.com

Step 2

Add that new new email address to facebook and make it your primary email

Step 3

remove your current facebook email which you use to log in.

Step 4

Now, allow permissions for farmville to retrieve your email address.

This is the new email you just created.

Step 5

You will get a gift of carrier pigeons in your gift box and you can view all of your signs like before.

Now, change your application settings for farmville in facebook.com and remove those email
permissions for farmville.

Step 6

You can change your email address back to your regular login and delete the fake email from your facebook account.

Your Done

Farmville no longer bugs you with annoying pop-ups about getting your email.

Now Farmville thinks they have your email address when they don't have your real email address

and.........

well, for you, it's a win-win situation because you didn't have to give your real email address to them.
