This afternoon I learned of an internet friend's passing. When I first built this web page, Joe Tai's billboard was among the first doll fashion artists on The Fashion Plate. This doll friend was special in that he broke ground with his art and craft. Joe Tai was a doll artist, doll shoe maker, and all round good person. What he was able to accomplish in ten years is more than some people yearn to achieve in a lifetime.

Between 2007 and 2010, he and his company sold more than 35,000 pairs of doll shoes, mostly through eBay.
