From the lens Do You "Diet" for Fat Loss? What to Eat on a Diet?.

  • mary-golder May 15, 2012 @ 10:19 pm | delete
I eat 'cos I have to. Can't help when you love food like I do but seriously we all have to watch what we eat and control the amount of fat we carry around. Love the lens..

Simplest diet is the green face diet. Eat lots of green vegetables and any fresh meat that once had a face (i.e. not processed). Great lend, good luck with it. Thanks
  • hunterboy Feb 13, 2012 @ 11:04 pm | delete
I agree you cant diet you have to change the way you live your life. great lens lots of good info. thanks for taking the time doing it.
  • EricStifel Feb 2, 2012 @ 12:11 am | delete
Wow, talk about an informative lens. People should definitely not go on diets. Eating should be a healthy lifestyle, not a diet. I did learn about the BMR Formula, that is interesting. I'm going to have to learn more about that and see if I can get just a tiny bit thinner using that knowledge. Thanks for the great lens.

Love your lens on dieting. My wife struggled with weight for years. She suffered from depression and anxiety even knowing she looked amazing in my eyes but she just never felt confident when she looked in the mirror.

She has now just lost 26 pounds using the Diet Solution Program and looks amazing. She knows what hard work is and you have to do more than just eat healthy. This is the only diet she has stuck with and she has now helped our next door neighbour and her sister lose weight.

If you want a real diet plan to lose weight check it out, highly recommend it. My wife's website is http //www.dietprogramreview.net

Proper diet plus good exercise, specially cardio...is one way on how to burn belly fat effectively. Tried and tested as long as you stick to the plan until you reach the desired goal. Another key ingredient is discipline.

Can breath work help with weight loss? Breathslim is a breathing device that is now featured on the Breathslim website for weight loss. The Breathslim device is an exact copy of the Frolov breathing device developed by Vladimir Frolov from Russia. Their long term effects depend on changes in our basal or unconscious breathing patterns. If our breathing becomes lighter and slower (we breathe less air 24/7), one can lose weight. I turned my workout into fun by using the WII while excersizing on a stationary bike. Instead of watching the clock or the distance I am concentrating on the game. I also added weights to my wrists to work out my arms at the same time. It is working great thus far.

    Great site!

Ever wonder why you start panting after climbing even only 10 steps of the stairs? Tired of looking for the right size of clothing to fit your body? Or worse, do you always get people to notice you, yet at the same time discriminate you?

Terrible as they may seem, but these are just some of the countless bad effects of obesity.

    It's true?

Take it from me because I have been there. And it wasn't fun - even just bringing it back to mind can be so frustrating.

But I didn't lose hope. I made an extra effort to study what causes obesity and how it can be treated. Thus, I alloted enough time to perform what I have learned.

And now, I have achieved the perfect body weight and figure I have always wanted.

Like me, I'm sure you can do it.

Nice post with lots to read! ? I hate the word diet and rather nutrition. Diets seem so short term. To guarantee weight loss it really has be a life style change and unfortunately something usually has to scare you into action!
Because its all common sense but us humans love the easy way out = fastfood. Personally I try to stick to natural unprocessed real foods (lean cuisine is not real food) and moderate but intense exercise and that keeps the weight off ? I guess it always sounds easier than to do?

Being healthy is a lifestyle, not a diet. There are many good tips on how to achieve permanent weight loss; none of them includes diets or diet pills. The best way to lose weight and to become healthier is to take responsibility for yourself! Your health is your most important asset. For many people, being overweight is associated with being uncomfortable in their own skin. To assist with weight control; keep a daily food journal and every time the urge to snack is felt, first drink a large glass of clear water. This simple act will help you to eat less. Water hydrates you, suppresses your appetite, helps you to feel full, and metabolizes fat cells. Water will soon become one of your best friends. The major reason so many people in America are overweight is because we eat too much for comfort! It does not hurt to treat ourselves with something special once in a while, what is necessary is that we limit our portions and do not overeat! It is also necessary to keep our body properly hydrated, so drink a full glass of water with each meal or snack. Being overweight ******, but after reading a book, I lost 85 pounds! Words can not express how good I feel! This is a comment which I recently received about the book Lose Weight Using Four Easy Steps
  • mzoghori Jan 13, 2010 @ 7:47 am | delete
This is a really superior lens. I like it and the fact that you are advising on losing weight the natural way. I would recomend using acai berry supliments after exercise since it contains omega fatty acids. These fatty acids are not stored in the body, instead it is used by the liver to kick start the body's mechanism and speed it up greatly. This enables the body to burn up calories hence losing weight. This would result to faster weight loss.
