All About My Favorite Star Trek Movies
Hello and welcome to my favorite Star Trek movies Squidoo page! Here I want to list all my favorite, what else?! Star Trek. I'm not going to list them all since I don't like them all and theres just to many to list on one Squidoo page! lol
Why am I doing this? I want a place to share my thoughts and ideas about Star Trek and a place I can find other Star Trek fans.
But I am very purpose minded. I thought might as well try to make a few dollars if I am going to make a hugh Squidoo page and try to get as many people to see it as possible. But I also want to raise money for charity. I like to include charity in everything I do as much as possible.
Thank you for visiting and please leave some comments on my guestbook! :)

If I Had To Pick A Most Favorite Scifi Movie Overall It World Be Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
This is probably because I really love Star Trek and I really love movies on time traveling.
If you watched Star Trek movies (and I bet you have, seems like anyone who likes scifi likes Star Trek) then you know there is a lot of shows and movies all related. (More about this later.)
Star Trek IV: The Voyager Home is based on The Orignal Series created by Gene Rodenburry from the 1960s.
This movie was a continuation from an earlier Star Trek movie called, Star Trek III: The Search For Spock.
On their way back to federation space from Planet Volcan, heard a Star Fleet emergency call for help from an alien probe which was destroying earth.
Once the crew figured out the probe was to humpback whales and it was because the humpback whales was extinct, they decided to go back in time to the late 1900s to bring back a humpback whale to save the Earth.
Were they successful in bringing 400 tons (two whales and enough water for them)back to Earth to save Earth from the destructive alien probe?
Maybe you should find out!

My Favorite Scenes From Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
Hmmm, this is going to be pretty hard here since its been quite awhile since I seen this movie or any these movies. Don't worry, I plan to watch all these movies again. I'm even going to add in some screenshots of these scenes.
My first favorite scene is when Scotty (ship engineer) first beamed up two huge whales (and enough water for both) into the cargo bay of the Enterprise. If I remember right he said, "Captain, they be whales here!"
You should have seen how excited he looked. Big smile and eyeballes were so big. lol I guess I would be excited to since that meant he just beamed up 400 tons of matter. I'm sure he has never beamed up that much before!
Oh, you could say that Scotty was just beaming! LOL
Stay tuned, I'm going to try and get a picture or two from this scene...

My Next Favoriate Star Trek Movie Has Got To Be Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country
In Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, the crew (from Enterprise in the Orignal Series) has to help a sworn enimy; The Klingons. Their home worlds biggest power supply is blowing up and they only have 50 years of power on their home world.
Does Kirk really want to help them? In Star Trek II: The Search For Spock a Klingon killed Kirks only son. One he only recently found he had.
So Kirk is ordered to excourt the chancellor Gorkon to the peace meeting where he is suppose to sign a peace treaty with The Federation.
On the way the Enterprise unexpectedly fires upn the Klingon ship, then some mysteries person boards the Klingon ship (supposely from the Enterprise) and assinates chancellor Gorkon then beams out.
Now the Klingons are very angry as you might imagine and are ready to battle with the federation.
As part of perserving peace, Kirk and Dr. Mccoy is senteced to a harsh Kligon work camp where they will be lucky to survive. If they leave the protection sheild they will most certainly die.
What will Kirk and Dr. Mccoy do? How will they survive?
How will Spock rescue them expecially not even know where they have been sentenced to?

My Next Favorite Star Trek Movie Must Be Star Trek VII: Generations
Star Trek VII: Generations is based on the show Star Trek: The Next Generation (ST: TNG). This was a new generation of crew for The Enterprise from the Orignal Series Star Trek created by Gene Roddenbury in the 1960's.
In this movie you all the same charactors of the series, Capt. Jon Luc Picard, Com. Ricard, Lt. Com. Data, Lt. Commandar Wolf, Dr. Crusher, And Deanna Troy to mention a few.
In this movie, the Enterprise was sent to stop Dr. Soren from using a space phenonom called the Nexus to destroy a planet of millions of habitants to get a place he dreamed to get back to all his life.
When Capt. Picard was trying to stop Dr. Soren from bringing the Nexus to him, Capt. Picard was caught up in the Nexus with him.
Capt. Picard found himself in his past, a different past, one he only wished he had. One with a wife and children. But did Capt. Picard really want to live this life? Probably. But that don't matter because Capt. Picard knew he must put things right for him, his crew, and millions of inhabitants on the planet.
So Picard finds himself with the late Capt. James T. Kirk of Star Trek: The Orignal Series. Together will they stop Dr. Soren from destroying a planet of millions of inhabitants and changing the Universe?
Find out for yourself!

My Favorite Scene From Star Trek VI: Generations
This scene was easy for me. Maybe I seen this movie much more recently then the others or maybe I found it more funny? I dunno, here it is...
This scene involves Lt. Comm. Data (an android played by Brent Spiner)) who played the Enterprises third officer on board the Enterprise from Star Trek: The Next Gerneration Television show based on the Original Series created by Gene Roddenbury from the 1960's.
Androids are simuliar to robots (well not so simular if you hear Data explain it) but they both are basically ran by computers and computers don't have emotions. Well usually don't. But Data has been given an emotion chip which gives him the ability to have emotions. Most of the time during the show he didn't have emotions.
Well my favorite scene shows him after he has put in the emotion chip in. These scene shows him happily singing, clapping, and snapping his way doing one of his duties of scanning a planet for life signs as ordered from Com. Riker.
Riker has a pretty funny looking face when he saw Data acting that way. I'm uncertain if Riker knows if Data has the emotion chip. Most likely he does just he not use to Data acting this way.
I hope to have a screenshot or two for you soon. Wish I knew how to play the least the audio part of this scene for you. Oh well, you couldd always buy the movie.

- I too loved Voyage Home. There was a very powerful message in that film and it was given without banging people over the head about it.
Of course maybe people DO NEED to be banged over the head about polluting our oceans and water sources.

- Rockett,
Yeah we do need to be more careful about polluting the earth and over using resources God gives us. But I think some people take that too far too. I don't we need to spend tons of time researching and worring about it unless its your job cuase there are better things and more important things to take care of like helping people to make their decision where they spend eternity. God will take care of the earth. He created it and He can sure take care of the earth. We should be responsible with what God gave us. But that should bhe the least of our worries. Some day soon this world is going to melt with fervent heat and be destroyed no matter what we do. So lets just help others in making the right spiritual decisions. Thank you for your comment! :)

- I loved the Voyage Home too. Somehow the original series and original crew still stand out for me more than the future characters but they are all great and worth watching over and over again
