How We Define Ourselves

In some way or another, it is my belief that people create memory timelines associated with their favorite TV shows.

It may go something like: "Back when I was your age there were these great shows called 'Ma and Pa Kettle', 'Howdy-Doody'and 'Captain Kangaroo'I was about six then and that was the year Kennedy was asassinated".

Our entertainment is an integral part of who we are and what we remember. A show is called "dated" if there is a prop or reference to an era specific incident.

In honor of this, I have decided to make a list of tv shows I happened to see and shows that I liked to watch.

The List of Shows as I remember them

Cartoons

This be the list of cartoons most promimently stored in long-term memory.

The shows I watched from time to time and the shows I preferred to watch are intermixed.

So What Happened to Them All?

Overall, the shows were canceled, and later either were bought by different companies and put on repeat, put on DVD, or never heard of again. That's what has happened to the majority of these shows.

Fortunately though, there is the internet, and through the internet one can sometimes discover like-minded fans, and/or episodes of the show thought gone.

As this lens developes I shall be elaborating on each specific show and, if possible placing episodes of the more favored of mine below.

While looking back at this it's obvious the target demographic was for a young audience.... the concepts and general outlay are still as entertaining as ever.
