Are you ready for Thanksgiving?
Thanksgiving may seem like a challenging holiday for vegetarians, but it can be a fun adventure. This is an opportunity to enjoy a variety of great dishes, and at the same time, share the bounty of vegetarian food with your non-veggie friends and family.
I'm looking forward to hearing your holiday stories and your suggestions for a successful Vegetarian Thanksgiving. I'd also love to hear from meat-eaters that may be concerned about providing alternatives to their vegetarian guests.

What do you plan to serve for Thanksgiving this year?

We used to have huge feast style dinners for Thanksgiving, but that was when we had a house. After the flood/fire we no longer have the kicten to cook in, so the past few years we head out to a local buffet resurant, where you pay at the door, and than just eat whatever yu want for as long as you can keep eating. Turns out that it's cheaper than cooking the meal yourself, and we end up with more time spent together as we are not running back and forth cooking, and have more time to talk. So now we do that every year. Posted September 21, 2008 |

You know, I'll just bet that you could make a stuffed cabbage roll with some soy protein other than pork or meat -- I've never had a vegetarian thanksgiving -- I could do it, but the rest of the family NAY. 5***** Posted August 20, 2008 |
