Shock! Horror! It's Final Destination!

The Final Destination series of movies are in a class of their own. They keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end, and the shocks just keep coming!

Although these movies all stand alone stories, they all have the same theme. The idea surrounding the Final destination movies is that you WILL die when it's your time. If you manage to escape death once, it will soon catch up with you, and there is no way to stop it...or is there?

Review and Summary of the Movies

As horror movies go, the Final Destination series of films are some of the best. They grab your attention, and continue to surprise you all the way through. Although not filled with gratuitous gore and violence, they do have their moments. However, these moments are not gory for the sake of it; instead the tactics used in these films are more designed to shock the viewer over and over again, and keep the audience guessing right to the end.

The basis of the stories is this. One person has a vision and predicts a major disaster. In the original movie, this was a plane crash, the second a huge traffic pile up and the third featured an accident on a fairground ride. In these visions, everyone died (including the person with the premonition). On each occasion, this premonition caused the person to take action, saving several people, although the disaster still took place. In each case, the survivors cheated death.

Shortly afterwards, the survivors start to die in freak accidents. Death was catching up with them! The only way for those remaining to survive is to figure out when death will strike next, and cheat it again!
