Gustav Klimt
(July 14, 1862 - February 6, 1918)
Klimpt was an Austrian painter, muralist and draftsman who produced mainly erotic works of the nude female body.
He was the recipient of Golden Order of Merit from Emperor Franz Josef I of Austria and an honorary member of the Universities of Munich and Vienna. Several of his paintings have sold for tens of millions of US dollars, and even exceeded $100 million.
