Flickr 888, A 24 Hour Celebration of Flickr

I love to use photos to create my step-by-step instructions for cooking, crafting and building my Squidoo lenses.

I use the links to Flickr so you have easy access to the projects that I create for my craft club.

You can do the same thing with those great shots you take for 24 Hours of Flickr... or for 24 hours of great family fun at your house!

Like most people, my passions run in many directions!

Squidoo has given me the platform to express myself in the many arenas that are important to me. Flickr gives me the power to enhance my words with great visual imagery.

Together, I have all the tools I need to create my own little online kingdom!

My faith, my family, pets, crafting, and writing are the fuel that fires my spirit.

My desire to change the world for good beckons to me each day. The internet gives me the ability to share my thoughts, photos, journals and lenses for anyone who cares to read.

Squidoo gives me the power to direct royalties to some amazing charities. The pennies that are my part of Squidoo's donation structure are powerful when they are added to the other thousands of Squidoo members whose goal is the same as mine.

We want to help change the world for good!

It's an exciting and powerful vehicle, and I am thrilled to engage in the creative process that has been placed at my disposal!

Since I'm writing about Flickr, I would like to include some great content about their services and latest news.

Whilte I'm building my lens, I simply added the "Feed My Search" widget, and it feeds my lens with relevant content about Flickr.

It's a fast and easy way to build a link list that directs your readers to your web content!

I have a lot of ideas, but I'm sure that my photo will be something from the desert.

I live the The Valley of the Sun, home of the stately Saguaro Cactus.
Perhaps that will be my best shot!

There are so many great ideas to choose from, but like you... I'll have to choose just one.

I chose to spend some time in Old Town Scottsdale to find the inspiration for my 888 best shot.

It was a lovely evening for a stroll... even though it was still about 100 degrees!

I know that's still pretty hot; but it FEELS cool, since daytime temperatures can soar as high as 120 degrees!

Old Town Scottsdale is filled with shops that offer beautiful jewelry, fabulous art and glasswork...

And, as you can see from my photos, the streets are lined with seats made from wagon wheels, and some stunning statuary!

Come for a walk with me through Old Town Scottsdale, in sunny Arizona...

I just have to share these beautiful sea creatures I discovered while I was browsing Old Town Scottsdale!

The colors are brilliant, and the detail is incredible... a delightful treasure for a gal who is also a crafty squid!

Who would have thought I would find a delightful little paper shop while strolling through the old west?

Of course, I plan on going back to do some shopping!
I'd like to see what kind of goodies I can find to share with my friends and members of my craftaholics club!
