Homemade Pedicure Treatment for beautiful feet

A clear skin and a beautiful glowing face are not the only requisites in the process of looking at one's best. Taking care of the feet and hands with manicure and pedicure treatments play an equally important part. But such regular treatments are quite costly and one usually neglects grooming of the hands & feet. So here is a procedure for a homemade pedicure to make your feet healthy and attractive naturally.

Preparation Involved

1. Make a mixture of the besan powder, spoon of sugar, lime juice and curd to be used later as the foot scrub.
2. Make a paste of the powdered oat flakes, curd and honey.

Homemade Pedicure-How do you do it ?

1.Gentle Soak : Mix luke warm water with a few drops of shampoo, lime juice and a teaspoon of salt. Soak your feet for 20 minutes and wipe with a soft towel gently.

2.Dead Cell Exfoliation : Exfoliate the dead cells with the natural scrub prepared earlier. Alternatively a ready made foot scrub or even a face scrub can be used.

3.Pumice Stone : Rub the pumice stone on the sole of your feet after removing the dead cells with the foot file. This will help in rejuvenating the feet, as it aids in increasing blood circulation.

4.Pushing back the cuticle : Push back your cuticle into the skin with a soft stick dabbed with cotton.Try to avoid cutting the cuticle as it may cause pain.

5.Cut your toenails : Make sure you cut your toenails neither too short nor too deep. Gently file your nails and apply a disinfectant spray to prevent nail fungus.

6.Apply Nail Polish : After cutting your toenails and shaping it accordingly, apply 2 coats of a nail polish that compliments your skin tone well.
