He's not really one to buy knife sets (or anything else for that matter) that are a little pricey (anything over $20 is pricey for him).
So either the sales person was just THAT good with the demonstration or the knives are that good OR... he was just in a buying mood!
The latter is VERY unlikely.

Whenever I need to really cut into something stubborn (fingers excluded), the Forever Sharp knives work well.

I LOVED my Forever Sharp knives! Got the main knife as a gift from my grandma and then got a set for my anniversary as few years back never anybrust never dull ! Tjey were so great that someone we know actually stole them. Have yet to replace them as it seems they dont demo in my aera anykore

Wow! All I can say is I'm surprised. I still have my knives and really do like them. I know that whenever I have something tough to cut like tomatoes or bread it works wonders.
I'm not a gourmet chef though!

It's hard to say, since I've never tried a Forever Sharp knife. I'll say it's the best, since it can't be any worse than most of the knives I own. I'll have to check one of these out.
I've tried better knives than this one!

I actually bout a ceramic knife from Harbor Freight Tools for $3 and it's the best knife I've owned. It cuts through anything tough and can still you, but I don't seem to actually acquire lacerations when I slip with it. I'm Polish, I slip with the knife often and I have the scars to prove it. I love my ceramic knife.

This set of knives is worse than some of the sets i have in my own house now .I got mine at B.J.s wholesale in Virginia Beach.They should give all of us a refund .As for the sales guy that did the pitch on these,to get us to bite the hook ,i hope he sleeps good at night ,because if i had done the same thing and known in my own mind that these knives were not what they were cracked up to be ,i'd never forgive myself .Please don't buy any of them .Don't be a sucker .

well I brought these with a lifetime guarantee, and know after 18months they are not as sharp as they used to be, but now they are not stocked in New Zealand, so much for the lifetime guarantee
Final Thoughts on Care..
Yes, I was lazy and started to do this and I did see a little rust start to form. Now I only wash by hand.
I've learned that this is the way it is with All Knives to make them last longer, so it's not a lack of quality but improper care on my part.

- I also saw a demo at BJ's and I was hooked. I must say I have enjoyed my knives. The only problem is that the chef's knife and one of the paring knives seem to be getting a litt dull. I know there is a life time guarentee, but how the heck am I going to be able to send proof of purchase 5 years later. I know I'm a pack rat but keeping a receipt for 5 years. Any suggestions as to how I prove I got these knives from a demo at BJ's in Massachusetts?

- I bought these knifes and they all rusted I wash them by hand. I want a replacement since they are guarantee. They are not as sharp after you use them.
