Forum Marketing

Forum Marketing is all easy but fully confused. Every marketing article you see will tell you one thing and only one thing. "put your links on the signature". That's right in most cases. Do it but do something more than it. Forums ask Questions. You should only reply to the question you know the answer to. In most cases the answer is completely online . all that is required from you is read it and recreate the content again. This increase Your credibility. Now lets add a twist to it.

The secret:
Do not add the answer directly to the forum. Instead create a detailed article and post it on Squidoo, Ezinearticles or even your blog or your website. Give a brief about your answer and keep it really "Catchy" Link your answer to the post to your blog and ask them to read it in detail there.

What happens is, you get more traffic to your web page , blog or article. Increased traffic to your article will raise your ranking in your article site (For instance ezine articles has a section on the bottom of each article which says "most viewed in the past 90 Days". They drive even more traffic to these pages). Blogs will become popular and will actually get pinged more often for their comments. Your Squidoo Lens will also get more traffic and will be termed most visited.

Of course, your post will have the signature to your website and this adds up to your Page rank and traffic. What you are searching for at the end of the day is Targeted Traffic and not just Google Ranking. So remember, how it comes is not important as long as it comes and they are targeted.

Join as many forums as you possibly can manage and make sure that you answer at least 10 questions a day in total. This gives you inbuilt links and always puts you on top of the list in the forum too.
