Known and not-so-well-known places I love in France...dining, shopping, exploring
Dinner in Paris
- Restaurant Le Maupertu
- In the 7th, across from L'Ecole Militaire, this Provencale-influenced restaurant has a seasonal menu. 3-course set dinner is 29 Euros.
- La Fermette Marbeuf 1900
- Stunning Art Nouveau restaurant in the 8th, a few blocks from the Champs Elysees. The food was not as great on our second visit, but the interior is an site to behold.
- L'as du Fallafel
- Rue de Rosiers, in the Marais (4th). Cheap and delicious. Closed on Saturday (in Paris's Jewish district), and very long lines on Sunday. According to the lettering on the door, it's recommended by Lenny Kravitz.
