Great catch on Fred...I saw one just like him in Southern Md!

In South Florida we have a criminal catching large amounts of Geese (Including Egyptians), I was touched by your story. I hope Fred never come to Florida. This man is out of control and there are others destroying wild life. You can find more about this evil man www.sunsentinel.com/ducks , the name of this man is Austin Lee Corley, 19 years old.
Please pray for us, all people here are organizing, to stop this man.

I just saw 2 Egyptian geese walking around Coral Square Mall in Coral Springs. I've had some visit and spend some time with the Muscovy ducks in the canal behind my home.

hi..beautiful videos of "fred"...you may want to consider changing fred's name to FREDITA. Only FEMALE egyptian geese honk, while the males of this group emit a raspy hiss. thanks for the videos

Hello! I see that you have used a couple of my Egyptian Geese pictures from my flickr page! That's very exciting. We have a few Egyptian Geese near my apartment complex. There are at least 3 adults (1 male and 2 female) and there are now some almost fully grown chicks. I actually have a whole bunch of pictures of them. I invite all to check out my pics here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mleongkee/sets/72157617440683376/.

I also wanted to say "Nice page!" I think the Egyptian goose is quite magnificent. I'm glad to know there are more out there in the US. From a recent bird conducted by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, it appeared that there were only reported cases of Egyptian Geese here in South Florida.

You have Fred, and I had Herman and Molly. They were just plain' ol' Canadian geese, but I loved them just the same. They landed on the pond behind our house when I was a kid and just kept coming back, year after year ... along with more and more of their friends each time, till there were about 50 honkers in our back yard. Our neighbors just loved us. Funny thing was, I could always pick out Herman and Molly from the crowd. But ANYway ... great lens! :)
