Stories of near-death experiences, including some dramatic reenactments, abound on this hour-long tape hosted by Joseph Campanella and peppered with interviews of authors on the subject, most notably Raymond Moody (Life After Life). Guardian angels, prayer groups, and other religious topics are discussed unabashedly, although Christians might want to note that issues of mysticism are also discussed. Two authors who wrote about their own near-deaths provide the video with its most riveting moments, particularly Dannion Brinkley (Saved by the Light), who had not one, but two such experiences. In between stories, viewers are treated to quotes on life and the afterlife by historic figures ranging from Buddha to Dante to Mahatma Ghandi.
