You will then want to build links from other websites that link to your site. If you build links from high pr sites that are related to your site, you will get a great deal of benefit for your search engine rankings.

Promoting your Website with Articles 

My favorite way to develop links is by using article marketing. Article Marketing is a good way to promote your new website and to get links. I have been writing articles for the past few years and it has proven to be very beneficial for getting traffic and links to my sites.

Once you have your website, you should begin writing articles about the topic of your product. Submit your articles to as many article directories as possible while including a link to your website in the author's resource box. This link should go directly to a page about the topic in the article

Promote your website with a Press Release 

A press release is another excellent way to get free website promotion for your new website. Write about your company, what it does, what your goals are for it, how it came about, and then distribute your press release via a reputable newswire.

A good press release will be short and to the point around three hundred words. Longer press releases do not get as good of results as they lose the media's attention, and are not as search engine friendly.

Learning to write a good professional press release can augment your business or service. With the Internet filled with advertisements it is a refreshing way to get the word out without being over hyped. Readers are blasted daily with these over hyped ads.
