Free Internet Marketing Tools

Free Internet Marketing Tools is just what the title says. Lot's of lensmasters work online daily and like any trade, the tools of the trade can make a difference. So, as I receive and use the various free marketing tools out there, I will post them here with a review.

Article Marketing

Article Marketing is all the rage. But, an overlooked aspect is that you can place your own content in your own info directory. I have many of my articles intersperced with over 15000 other articles.

One of the things that folks seem to like is that I charge nothing for the service. No fee, no signup, no email, no spam, nothing but free information

Hits2u

Hits2u is a free rotating site that is affiliated with Global Domains International. Since joining I have seen my traffic up by 7-21% depending on which analytics program I use. Also, as a plus, they only send mail out to promote the specific program. A sort of remote control coaching without the hard sell.

Global Domains International

So you want a dedicated site of your own? How about a site where all the keyword rich names are not taken? GDI is a hosting solution that is dirt cheap, has a terrific interface, an excellent back office, and great tools for marketers. It starts with a seven day free trial for the .ws domains. At ten bucks a month you really cannot go wrong.

The sitebuilder that comes with it is pretty good as well. By using it, your site is live a lot faster than if you upload via FTP.

Cloaking your URL's with Offto.net

Everyone knows that affiliates lose a lot of sales. A raw affiliate link such as
"www.productsite.com/12345iergetututu" is easy to bypass. Simply highlight the top tier and go. The affiliate loses nothing tangible because he or she likely will never know it was done.

I cloak my links when appropriate. I also acknowledge that they are cloaked when asked. I explain that the above trick is only one method by which honestly due commissions go MIA.

I use two services.

The first is OffTo.Net They shorten your URL and allow you to add a tag to the end. It is not affiliate marketed except in the form of credits. Each link you make will be featured on their website on a rotating basis.

Check it out at Off to . net.

Cloaking Links with HTML

Here is the code for cloaking your links using plain HTML. But, be advised that this is the least secure. If someone is determined to steal your affiliate links, then getting around this is easy.

Here is the code: Remove the left/right parenthesis marks to make it live.

(<)a onclick="parent.location.href='http://www.Affiliate-link';return event.returnValue=false"href=http://www.Display-Link&gtAnchor Text(<)/a(>)

ViralURL and cloaking your URL's

Another link cloaking service I use when appropriate is ViralURL

They also shorten your URL and allow you to add a tag to the end. It is affiliate marketed and also has an upgraded membership option that most will like.

The big advantage of the upgrade is that you get to use their auto responder and mailer. This is great if you don't want to manage a listing machine.
