Numerology is different to all the other metaphysical sciences, because it is based entirely on logic and objectivity. Whereas most other disciplines, need you to subjectively interpret something (such as card images in the case of tarot), numerology leaves little to interpretation - it presents clear solid numbers as facts. This is one reason why it has become so popular in the field of compatibility readings.

Before looking at where you can get a free numerology compatibility reading, let's look at how such a reading works. To do that, we need to understand a little about numerology in general.

Numerology is the study of universal energies as symbolized by numbers. Every single-digit number represents a different universal energy vibration. Everything that has ever been created has numbers associated with it - for example - the date of creation. For a person, the date of creation is usually called a "birthday". A marriage takes place on a certain date, that date is the date of creation of a wedded couple.

By reducing these dates to single digits, we can find out the universal energies associated with whatever we are studying. When we know the energies at work, we can predict with great accuracy, traits (personalty, need, desire, fear, etc) as well as future events.

So how can these numbers help us test for compatibility in a relationship? Easy! By taking certain numbers associated with each person in the relationship, a numerologist can understand the personalities involved in that relationship, and therefore, the likely outcome.
It's a bit like looking at the astrological signs of two people to see if they are well matched, based on their personality traits.
