How to Live Frugally

Living frugally is not just for the cheap at heart or those with very little income. Frugality is a lifestyle for many. And an easily attainable lifestyle at that. Oh, this does not mean you will be eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, unless, of course, you want to eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Many who live frugally have gradually perfected their craft. They started out with a few coupons and it grew into a few more. There are sites available to show you how to find the best sales at the stores closest to you. I have found several forums that break down the sales by store and remind you of coupons from Sunday's gone by. That is right. Just because you have a coupon does not mean you should use it right away. Products go on sale all the time and using coupons in combination with sales is the best in living frugally.

I have found several sites where the women spend pennies for hundreds of dollars worth of food and household items. This is no joke! I will list them here and you can go check them out.

But living frugally not only means saving on what you do buy. Living frugally means deciding what you buy and its true necessity in your life. Do not do without something that you need, but do be smart about what you need. Wants and needs are two different things.

More resources for those who like something more tangible than a computer screen. But, to live the truly frugal way I would suggest checking out your local library prior to making a purchase. I channel my money to stuff that really has value to me: organic might be more expensive up front, but it's cheaper to pay the little farmer than Big Pharma. When my physician looks over my blood analysis he says he wishes his numbers where that good!

    - i agree with these qoute, perfectly true!!!i once like that before, having fun on spending too much money even if bought stuff that it's not important and not i really need.now that i'm working, everything's change because it's not easy to look for a money and really work hard then waste it for nothing..now i've learned to minimize my expenses and only buy stuff that i really need the most..thanks for the information, nice lens, very interesting!!
