Why Freelance Writing?

I love to write, plain and simple. A writer cannot stop themselves from writing. So when I thought about working from home, it was easy for me to come up with the how. Freelance writing can be a challenge, though its a wonderful learning experience.

I made this lense more or less to show off my freelance writing skills as well as collecting the information I have gathered during the process. Since freelance writing is something I know quite a bit about, I have chosen it to test out Squidoo. I also will be updating with challenges I'm facing.

The Drake/Norris expedition of 1589, also known as the English Armada was sent by Queen Elizabeth I to the Iberian coast in order to cause Philip II to call for peace. Unfortunately, the Drake/Norris expedition failed. The fleet of warships suffered heavy losses while attempting to carry out their three adjectives.
Clean Smart!
Having a clean, neat, decluttered home in today's society often feels like a dream. With most homes being two income (or often more), there just doesn't seem to be enough time to do more then the bare minimum before falling exhausted into bed each night. With that demand on our time, many of us are struggling not only to clean our homes, but raise our children the way we dreamed, follow our own dreams and goals, and some days even take a deep breath.
What Race Were The Ancient Egyptians?
The Ancient Egyptians were neither white nor black, but rather a mix. In recent years, some controversy has risen on what "race" the Ancient Egyptians were. As is common with all human populations, there were many color and feature variations within the Ancient Egyptians. The Ancient Egyptians themselves even referred to themselves as different from the other races around them.

I feel that any medium that you become published in makes you a real writer. Some argue that you are not a writer until you publish a book, that you are merely a hobbiest, but I feel that is false. The medium doesn't matter, even in online publishing there is the same amount of work (and in some cases more work) and it is still the same blood, sweat and tears.

Do you think being published online qualifies you as a writer?
