Free Online Guitar Lessons - Online Tools

There are many free online guitar lessons, that can help us in our pursuit of becoming better guitarists.  I want to give you a list of some of the best free online tools that I have found to help increase my understanding of the guitar.  So lets get started.

Help with Chords:

Many times it becomes easy for us to get in a rut of playing chords the same way every time.  Barr chords are great but there are so many interesting voices that it would be a shame not to take advantage of them.  This webside called chordbook.com will help in finding great cord positions that we never even knew existed.  Very Very nice!!

Help with Scales:

There are more scales for the guitar then you can shake a stick at.  In order to try and keep with with them all lest take a look at a great side for seeing the whole neck of the guitar in whatever key or mode you can imaging.  This is another great find and has helped me imensley.  You can find this tool called Modemaster at the following link.  This one has been a God send to me.  Check it out!!

Help with Modes:

We can really get a better understanding of how modes work if we understand the chords what fit with each mode.  With this tool we can see that relationship by using a pulldown menu of the mode we are interest in and the site automatically shows us the chords what are related to that mode. It's called Modal-madic.  This one is very helpful!!
