I want to be home to watch my kids grow up.

I have an agenda: I want every parent who wants to stay home with their children to have the opportunity. I don't want anyone to be held back because of start up fees, monthly qualifing costs or lead purchasing. This lens is dedicated to ways to earn money online or from home that are 100% free.

My Story

Never pay to work!

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that I have tried my fair share of WAH opportunities. Some work better than others, but I was very hard pressed to find one that didn't require me to pay out more than I was bringing in. I have tried several different kinds of online businesses; MLM, affiliate, direct sales etc. I knew that these programs worked for people but I just couldn't get them to work for me, I was at a loss to say why. I have a background in sales, I was a realtor before I left the work place, I should have been able to sell anything. So again, why wasn't it working for me? Then I finally realized why I couldn't make these businesses work...I couldn't, in good conscience talk people in to investing their hard earned money only to watch them fail. 97% of WAH ventures fail!! That number is staggering to me. How could I, knowing that I was spending more than I was making tell others- "The program works, if you work it. You just need to purchase leads" or "Purchase your product in order to stay active" or "Buy a deluxe start up kit". I felt like a criminal. I decided that it wasn't for me, and left it all behind.

When my husband and I found out we were expecting, I got the bug again, I wanted to stay home. I didn't want someone else to see my sons first smile, or hear his first laugh - I HAD to be there for those mile stones. I knew we couldn't afford to live off of one income so I started looking obsessively for a way to stay home. I found all of the same kinds of opportunities and was very hard pressed to find something that didn't require a start up fee. I was determined to not make the same mistakes and knew I needed to find something with certain givens:

1) It had to be free so every person who wanted to
change their lives would have a chance
2)It had to be simple
3)It had to take away all of the "business games" that keep most people from succeeding in a home-based business

Paid to Write

Are you a freelance writer?

These are all paid to write jobs, some are freelance, some are blurbs/tips some are essays and some are ezine articles. This list is by no means complete, I've just gotten requests for these kinds of jobs and am starting to research them. Hang in there, I'll get more to you.
Associated Content
Submit your writing and if it is published you will get paid.
Constant Content
I really liked this site, there are job postings that you are able to submit your work for and compete (so to speak) with other writers for the job, the pay for the jobs are listed right in the postings. You are also able to use this as a hub of sorts for writing assignments that you have been personally requested to do.
Pay Per Post
Pay per post is a paying site for bloggers. I really hadn't heard about this site until just recently. I haven't really gotten to use it enough to write a full review on it yet. What I have learned about it thus far is that PPP is paid by advertisers to get bloggers to write a review on thier product or service. Once the blogger writes the review, submits it for approval and it is approved the blogger is paid. There are other ways to earn with pay per post, including a very high paying referral program. PPP also pays $20 for your first review, the review is about PPP. The requirements to have your blog approved for PPP seem to be pretty simple, it must be in English and must be at least 90 days old, and there can't be offensive material on the blog. Check it out, I am.
Oh, and by the way this wasn't my paid review.

Helpful sites

Not necessarily for money making, but really helpful.

The sites listed here are not necessarily for money making purposes. These sites are sites or links that I use for various things that I find to be very usefull.
Private Phone
You are able to sign up for a free phone number, with voice mail so that you do not have to put your home or cell phone number in for offers on GPT sites.
Link Referral
I like this site, it brings in some traffic (nothing astronomical)and your site is ranked and reviewed by other "surfers" on the site.
Get Referral
It is a site that you can earn points by clicking on links and/or signing up for offers. All offers on this site are free. You are then able to "spend" the points you earn towards people signing up in your downline. I love it and think it is a great idea. Check it out.

Now that you know about me, let me tell you what I do

I'm so sick and tired of looking for work at home opportunities only to find something that sounds good and have them ask for X amount of money, for "training materials", "start up kits" etc. The way I see it, if your looking at low cost or free wah opportunities it's because you don't have a lot or any money to spend on starting a business. If your looking at these opportunities you're looking to make money not spend it.
So, with that said. On this lens you will find several different ways to really work from home. None of the opportunities I have listed here will ever ask you for money! What ever your nitch is, mystery shopping, data entry, "get paid to" sites, networking, You will find it all here. FREE!
