The Neoprene Wrap & Non-Migrating Gel Pack
The Freezie Wrap® provides pain relief for swollen or inflamed soft tissue injuries. The device provides a cold gel pack insert which promotes cold comrpession therapy. Freezie Wraps® are cut and sewn specifically to fit each part of the body. The Freezie Wrap® casing is made of soft, flexible, textured neoprene that conforms to the shape of the body. The inside of the wrap has a breathable nylon lining which prevents the skin from cyroburn and the edges are sewn flush in order to prevent skin abrasions. The elastic nature of the neoprene wrap gently compresses the injured area which also prevents inflammation from returning. With the addition of broad adjustable neoprene bands and Velcro closures, the Freezie Wrap® provides a snug fit. This snug fit provides firm compression to prevent swelling and pooling of blood. The gel pack insert can be removed allowing the neoprene wrap to be worn all day to give extra support and stability to the injured area.
With ergonomics in mind, each Freezie Wrap® gel pack is engineered to fit properly around the body where the treatment is administered. The gel pack is not square, it is specifically shaped to flex around joints and parts of the body without bunching or lifting away from the body for complete coverage and effective cooling. With special non-migrating gel inside, the Freezie Wrap® stands apart from other cold compression wraps. This unyielding gel does not migrate away when compression is applied, keeping the cold over the injury where it is needed. The gel formula successfully holds the cold without freezing solid to deliver effective, comfortable therapy for the duration of treatment.
What is Cold Compression Therapy?
The Freezie Wrap® works by absorbing heat from the inflamed injured area, constricting blood vessels and slowing metabolism.

It is important to note that damaged blood vessels cannot deliver blood or remove waste effectively. In fact, the cells around an injury consume more oxygen eventually exhausting the supply and dying. These cells and excess fluid, having nowhere to go, leak into the surrounding area causing swelling. The Freezie Wrap® slows metabolism and lowers oxygen consumption, decreasing cell damage and reducing swelling.
