There are just so many things to see and do in Paris -
The Louvre, Ile de la Cite, Notre Dame Cathedral, Bastille Square, Sorbonne, Pantheon, Saint Germain des Pres, Champs Elysees, l'Arc du Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Place de la Concorde.
Of course, the Eiffel Tower is the symbol of Paris but Paris wouldn't be Paris without Le Moulin Rouge, Les Folies Bergere, Le Paradis Latin, Le Lido or le Crazy Horse Saloon. Neither without a romantic cruise on the Seine, or dinner at the restaurants brasseries in Paris.
Also, of course, just outside the city there is Versailles, the historical home of the Kings of France and to the other extreme the theme parks of Disneyland and Asterix.

Ever since Mickey Mouse first appeared on screen back in 1928 Disney has been a name synonymous with family entertainment, first through the short animated cartoons which introduced us to some of Disney's biggest stars such as Mickey, Minne, Donald and Goofy. Then later through full length animated feature films from Snow White and Bambi to the modern day classics such as Beauty and the Beast and Tarzan. In 1955 Walt Disney decide to try his hand at a new venture. Unhappy with the style of fun parks he would often visit with his daughters he set out to create a new style of "Theme Park" where the whole family could enjoy attractions together. In the process he transformed the face of the leisure industry forever.

I must admit that the first time I visited Disneyland in Paris I found it difficult to adjust to the Frenchness of it. Blanche-Neige et les Sept Nains doesn't quite sound right for Snow White. However, there are some fantastic benefits to Disneyland Paris, for example during off-season October to March the queues are short or virtually non existant and the food is great!
