Welcome to you're "DOOM!"
Welcome to Frisky Dingo, the show where an ambitious super-villain attempts to take over the world, all the while being slowed down by the insanity of his employees, family, and of course, his arch nemisis.
Dingo Bio.
Frisky Dingo is the latest release from Sealab 2020 creators Adam Reed and Matt Thompson. The original idea for the show focused on a superhero group known as Whiskey Tango, headed by Jack and Grace Taggart. However, Adam and Matt found out there was already a band named Whisky Tango, so they changed the name to Whiskey Tango Six. It was decided that the new name wasn't legally distinct, so they jokingly came up with the name Frisky Dingo. The plot also shifted focus to a super-villain, Killface, who tries to take over the world with his invention called the Annhilatrix. The show premiered on October 16th, 2006, at 12:30 am on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming and will run for 13 episodes. The second season of 12 episodes is due out during the latter half of 2007.
Frisky Dingo Characters.
Let's meet the family.
- Killface--Local super-villain and main character of FD, the muscular, alien-white looking Killface plans to take over the world with his Annhilatrix, which will drive the Earth into the Sun.
As far as personality goes, Killface proves himself to be somewhat incompetent in regards to controlling his employees and actually being a super-villain. He often feels as though he is much better than everyone, which is evident from his actions (or lack thereof) and his upper-class British accent. - Xander Crews (a.k.a. Awesome-X)--The world-famous superhero Awesome-X is also Xander Crews, owner of Crews Corporation. As Awesome-X, he has defeated every super-villain in the world, but doesn't want to spend the rest of his life running his business. His motivation in the show is to contract Killface to be his new nemesis. Awesome-X's superhero team consists of the Xtacles, a fleet of robotic soldiers who are unaware of his true identity.
- Grace Ryan (a.k.a. Antagone)--Ambitious journalist and girlfriend to Xander Crews, Grace Ryan excitedly covers news stories related to Awesome-X, unaware that he is actually her boyfriend. A parody of Lois Lane and Vicky Vale, Grace constantly endures the disrepectful ways and actions of Xander and her news crew. Midway through the first season of FD, Grace fell from the Annhilatrix into a truckbed filled with radioactive waste-covered ants, turning her into Antagone. Grace frequently switches back and forth between identities and fails to remember anything that she did as Antagone, who likes to steal expensive items and wants to get even with Xander Crews.
- Sinn--Killface's housemaid, who has a robotic arm, tight clothing, and an electronic-sounding voice. She refers to Killface as Sire.
- Simon--Killface's son, most likely in junior high school, who speaks in a low whisper or mumble. Only a few of the characters, including Killface and Sinn, seem to be able to understand when Simon speaks. He has a penchant for pushing cereal bowls on the floor and stealing knives and robot legs.
- Stan--As the head of the board of Crews Corporation, Stan takes it upon himself to run the business in Xander's absence (both in body and mind). He is seen as the evil corporate overlord determined to quickly replace Xander. The entire board committee that can only say "Harumph!", and each looks exactly like Stan, a white, older male.
- Arthur Watley--Working as an intern at the Crews Corporation, Watley becomes the subject of a super-villain experiment gone awry. To try to obtain a new nemesis for Awesome-X, Watley's arms are severed and replaced with large crab claws. Soon, the claws start to fuse with his body, which begins his mutation into a human-sized crab. Along the way, he meets Sinn, and the two fall in love.
- Xtacles--Awesome X's robotic super team are actually what appear to be humans encased in robotic armor. So far it is known that they can take off their "robot pants," revealing a pair of human legs and boxers. The Xtacles see Awesome X as the greatest boss ever, constantly enduring his physical and verbal abuse. However, they soon come to despise Xander Crews and attempt to kill him, unknowing that he is actually Awesome-X.
