Life, fun, and unhappenable notions

Isn't life fun? Yes, it certainly is, from a perspective. But what is fun?

I would define fun to be an acronym for the phrase "Fundamentally Unhappenable Notions." All that is happanable is routine, pedestrian, tedious, wearisome, and monotonous. But the unhappenables, notions though they may be, is what creates an environment of mirth, an ambiance of joy, an atmosphere of fun.

This perspective would, however, lead to a paradox. If life is fun, and fun is a fundamentally unhappenable notion, then by the law of associations, life is an unhappenable notion! So, the associative law should not apply to the equation between life, fun, and unhappenable notions, or life isn't fun, or fun isn't a notion, or . . .

Damn Sad Bush



Bush was damn sad that Saddam had one
A bushy moustache, while Bush had none
He groped for pretexts to wipe it off Saddam's face
And finally said "He has lice in 'em!" and hence a liability to his race
To prove to the world about his theory of lice
Bush sent in experts who doubled up as spies
They pried, they tried, clues they said, were many
But all that they proved were the lies about the lice - for lice, there really weren't any!
But Bush wouldn't give up and proclaimed
That it was a sinister dictatorial moustache - expressly groomed and trained
And bred on a diet of oil and spinach to spawn Super-Lice, a source of contamination
For each and every civilized man's grooming aspiration
His dad's and his moustache-lessness was due to this - he said, and of late
He strongly suspected that the malady was rising upto their pate
Convinced about his theory of lies and lice, and before he lost his head
Bush decided that he would rather have Saddam's, regardless of whether truth were alive or dead
