    I have been lucky enough to spend a few days in Portland and we drove there from Seattle, so I have also visited Mount Hood, Mount Ranier and Mount St Helens. And yes, I went to the Zoo.

    I haven't gotten to the Northwestern states yet; but when I do I will certainly get to Portland to visit.

    A great lens, Thank You. I have lived abroad for over 15 years and when I show photos of Oregon, everyone asks why I left such a beautiful area. My only answer is that 50 years I wanted a new adventure.

    We were watching a show on the Oregon Zoo today. We must visit the zoo on our next trip. Portland is the farthest point we can drive to comfortably in one day. We have stayed in Portland often while exploring Oregon or on the way to California. I love Portland! :)

    Thank You VERY MUCH for this thorough lens on Portland, Oregon. I know that my lens gives everyone the wrong impression. I think that Portland is THE most beautiful city on Earth! The things that you can do here rivals the things available anywhere in the US! The people are a fairly giving and enjoyable bunch and I don't think I would live anywhere else. Now, if we could just do something about getting more businesses here, and the taxes, and the sewer rates going up.. and...etc.

    I love this lens, Portland is a wonderful place to visit too! We have been there many times, mostly visiting people in their awesome medical hospitals, or my Uncle who lives there, but once to a NBA game too. Thanks for being part of the Exploring Oregon Group. I have just updated our group and wanted to invite all the lensmasters to see our new facelift! 5* to a great Squidoo Lensmaster!

    If you want to go east of town about 30 minutes checking out Multnomah Falls is always good for a little exercise and some great scenery. Its a great place to visit!

    Of Course! Multnomah Falls are (is?) lovely and all along the older road are lots more falls and gorgeous views of the Columbia River! Thanks for adding this!

    Very nice lens. Asheville, NC always seems to remind me of Portland and vice versa. They both have that hippy chic thing going on. Anyway, good job.
