The company GHD Hair is a part of the Jemella Group (a firm founded in the UK). They have a US office in Westlake Village, CA. The motto of GHD Hair is "Thou shalt never be the same girl twice". They feature this theme throughout their advertising and commercials. In one example, they show a crowded restaurant with many tables at which the same women is either seated or walking (like a runway model). All the men are different but she is the only woman. The hook is that at every table she has a different hair style, all created with a GHD flat iron.

A Bit of Science
The thinking behind these ceramic flat irons is that negative ions are emitted when special ceramics are heated. These negative ions help disperse any moisture into tiny tiny water droplets which is supposed to be healthier for the hair. In addition, the cuticle of the hair is thought to be closed by these negative ions. This helps reduce static friction (those nasty frizzes) and to increase shine and luster.
