THE SMALL WOMAN
The life of Gladys Aylward has always fascinated me. Here was this uneducated, simple woman who feeling the call of GOD went to China to share the gospel. Her passion was to tell others about her loving savior.GOD went before her. HE was the one who obviously enabled her to do what HE had called her to do. She was loved by the people. Her love for the people she came to know revealed JESUS CHRIST to them. Her passion for orphaned and abandoned children struck a chord in my heart when I was a teenager and first heard her story.A woman of faith who relying on CHRIST'S protection and strength; was able to rescue so many children during war.Her faith in her GOD brought her closer to HIM. She trusted JESUS as her savior and experienced struggles, difficulties pain and even beatings. She never waivered; but faithfully obeyed GOD in HIS call on her life.
HIS HANDS AND FEET
GOD tells us in HIS WORD that we are to be HIS hands and feet. The people of Haiti have gone through extreme suffering as of late. If you have watched any of the news footage you already realize this. The children especially have gone through pain and loss. There is a need for the church to step up and to reach out to them. We can all pray and ask GOD to lead us to where HE would have us serve HIM in this situation. There are so many ways...praying...financial; help maybe through your church to a direct fund to Haiti..adoption....maybe even a missions trip to Haiti when that door opens. Wherever or whatever GOD has for you to do ...I pray that you will have a willing heart. GOD hears our prayers and most importantly ...HE hears them. What is GOD placing on your heart to do? Trust HIM and faithfully obey HIM. May GOD bless you in the place GOD has you serve.

ABOUT THE MOVIE
The part of the Captain was a Hollywood addition. Unfortunately the romantic story line offended Gladys. She had felt the kiss in the movie tarnished her reputation. You see they called her "the virtous one". JESUS was her first love. For the most part the movie is otherwise accurate. She actually did stop a riot in a prison and adopted chinese children that had been abandoned.
Her story is heartwarming and inspirational! She was an incredible woman who followed a great GOD.
The movie is a joy to watch!

JESUS LOVES THE LITTLE CHILDREN
CHILDREN FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD
JUST ONE?
Our family has sponsored a little boy through Compassion International for 5 years.
Gladys Aylward helped to save over 100 children; but if each of us were to step forward in the name of JESUS to help JUST ONE .....just think what we could accomplish? What is GOD putting on your heart today? Won't you pray about it?
May GOD BLESS you in your decision!
