Grand Theft Auto IV Has Launched And We Have Everything You Need
As a member or a first time reader of GTAGaming.com, we'd like to invite you back to experience a wealth of content, imagery and movies of Grand Theft Auto IV. Tens of thousands of people enjoyed our coverage of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in 2004 and we did it again leading up to Grand Theft Auto IV.
We've got detailed information on the game's characters, like Niko Bellic, the Eastern European immigrant who you'll control as you explore Liberty City. If you're wondering just how much the city has changed, look to our locations page which has information on all the currently known areas in the city, which is set to be one of the most detailed ever created for any video game. Of course, our information is backed up by lots of screenshots of the game along with the unique concept artwork which Rockstar is so famous for.
Once you've whet your GTA appetite again, explore our forums. With around 1.5 million posts from over 11,000 members, it's a bustling community dedicated to Grand Theft Auto. We hope you enjoy our preview coverage and following the game's release the site will continue to cover all developments, including cheat codes, guides and game maps for armor, pidgeons, strangers, stunt jumps, etc.
Thank you,

GTA 4 Guide: Unique Stunts
All stunts recorded and demonstrated
Ten unique stunts from Grand Theft Auto IV, all located in Dukes (maps provided before each stunt with a red point marking its location). I'm not the best motorcycle driver in the world, so I do crash a lot - but I assure all the stunt jumps count! :)

GTA 4 Mission Guides and Walkthroughs
Missions, Side Missions, Random People
MissionsThe following mission bosses are sorted in the order you meet them in-game. The mission lists are sorted sequentially per mission boss and not for the game as a whole. To view the entire mission list in order, change the sort method in the drop-down menu above.

Assassin Missions
After Phil Bell's mission Truck Hustle, the assassin missions will be unlocked. To access these missions, head to the payphone located across the street from the gun shop in Alderney. Your boss, simply known as "Fixer", will give you weapons, armor, and a job.

Random People
Friends and mission bosses aren't the only people you can meet in GTA IV. Spread throughout Liberty City are 14 random characters, some of which you'll meet multiple times. While some of these people are completely new faces, some will be minor characters that you met at some other point in the game, possibly even ones whose lives you spared in past missions.
Random people missions are activated by approaching the small icon of a blue man that will appear on your radar once in a while. Some characters appear only at certain times of day, so be patient! Meeting the 14 characters will get you the Xbox 360 achievement "No More Strangers", and completing all 22 meetings will get you one step closer to 100% status in the game.

GTA 4 Guide: Assassin Missions
GTA IV Assassin Missions
After Phil Bell's mission Truck Hustle, the assassin missions will be unlocked. To access these missions, head to the payphone located across the street from the gun shop in Alderney. Your boss, simply known as "Fixer", will give you weapons, armor, and a job.
Hook, Line and Sinker
Return to top Your very first assassin mission will be an easy one - there's a man on a boat that needs to be dealt with. No other information is revealed.
Pick up the armor and weapons that your boss left for you, you don't really need it for this mission but it's free so just snag it. I suggest making a stop by the weapon store and picking up some sniper and RPG ammo. Now head towards the shore. Hop on a boat and get closer to the target.
The mission is a lot simpler if you don't get too close. Keep your distance and take out the target using the sniper or RPG that you just got. If you're not able to do so, drive towards the target and you'll have to chase him down riding thorugh the waters of Liberty City. Once you kill him or his boat explodes, the mission will be over.
Reward: $3,000
Industrial Action
Return to top There are three targets in the Acter Industrial area that you need to kill. When you arrive there, however, you'll see that they have a bit of backup. On the ground and up on the metal fixtures will be six to seven men waiting for you.
Before you head up, kill a couple of the visible men standing around on the top floors. Run between the two buildings towards the back, there will be a man on the ground hiding behind a couple of cars. Kill him and head up the stairs. There will be three guys on the stairway that you'll have to shoot down, too.
Once you're on the roof, run towards the main building. There will be a couple of guys in your way so take them out and head up the stairs closest to you. You'll have to go up two flights in order to reach the bridge that connects the buildings. Walk across the bridge and kill the remaining targets. Once they're all down, Niko will call the boss and assure him it's over.
Reward: $7,500

GTA 4 Guide: Random People Locations
map and guide complete
Another section of our GTA IV walkthrough is now complete: the random people map and guide. Like our unique stunts section, this update brings an interactive map to help you locate the characters.
Click any dot on the map to get a text guide on how to complete the side mission. Unfortunately videos of these missions can't be published on the site due to copyright issues, but the text goes into enough detail for you!
I'll also just remind everybody about our GTA IV guides YouTube account, which currently contains the unique stunt video compilations but will soon be updated with more guides.

GTA 4 Guide: 50 Unique Stunt Jumps & Interactive Map
All 50 unique stunt jumps with interactive map
There are 50 unique stunt jumps placed throughout Liberty City. Although these stunts are not required to complete the main storyline, you must nail all 50 of them in order to achieve 100% in GTA IV. We've assembled this guide that covers stunt locations and tips, and it even includes video clips of each stunt being performed. You can discuss these tips or add your own in our GTA IV forums.http://www.gtagaming.com/forums

The following GTA 4 cheats and secrets, which will certainly bring some more fun into the game, should be entered in game through Niko's cell phone. Note: cheats cannot be toggled off, so if you don't want them to be enabled the next time you play, do not save with cheats enabled!
