Recently i was interested in trying out gamefly, the online video game rental service that works like netflix or blockbuster online. so far so good...
So i started out with the trial about a week ago form today (its december 18). i personally have a ps3 (dont be hatin) i like my ps3, and have nothing against xbox 360, to me there both good. but i have a ps3 and the games for it are extremely expensive to buy... so i looked into gamefly because saw gamefly's tv ad (and the actress was cute too :D) so i looked into it online and found out they offer a 10 day FREE trial.
so for the past 7 days i have played 4 different games for free
-Call of duty 4 modern warfare
-grand theft auto IV
and im currently renting
-Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
-FIFA Soccer 09
FOR FREE!
so i have 3 days left of the trial and after it ends i am definitely keeping the service. for just under ten bucks a month i can rent as many games as i want, with no late fees.
so i know someone of you are probably wandering how it works...here is a quick rundown:
1. You sign up
2. You build a list of (in our case) video games that you want to rent.
3. They send you your games (depending on the plan you choose, you can get 1 or 2 games at a time)
4. Keep them as long as you want with NO LATE FEES!
5. Return them through mail (postage is paid for)
6. And receive the next game or games that is on your list!
so its pretty simple, i love it. it is definitely cheaper than buying games, that's for sure. if your not comfortable about committing to it yet try out the FREE TRIAL, you wont regret it.
heres some more in depth info on how it works and promotions they are having right now
