Once again it is Christmas time and the time to receive and give gifts and have fun with the family.
Here are some of the popular ones that you can try out.
* Play hide and seek with the gifts. Wrap the gifts in beautiful wrappers and put on the name labels. Then hide them at different places in the house. At the time of giving gifts, ask everybody to seek his or her own gift. Just imagine the fun when one finds another's gift and sees that person moving heaven and earth to find it. It is another matter that he might still have to find his.
* This is a real fun game. Choose any simple gift. Only make sure that it is the oddest gift to go with the person. How about a pipe for your grandma? Of course you will give them the real gift. Get it wrapped and then call up the members and ask them to open any gift except his or her one. Call up the name of the recipient before opening them and watch the whole family burst into laughter as the gifts are opened.
* Games are a must when giving gifts at your kid's Christmas party. To make sure that no one finds the other's gift better choose gifts that are similar in nature. Choose gifts that are liked by both sexes. This makes sure that the girls do not end up getting the gifts for boys and vice versa. Wrap them up and start the game of passing the parcel. Ask them stand in a ring, give them one gift at a time, play the music and ask them to pass on. Stop the music suddenly. The person stranded with the gift gets it and retires from the game. The game goes on till all the children get their gifts.

Because gift-giving and many other aspects of the Christmas festival involve heightened economic activity among both Christians and non-Christians, the holiday has become a significant event and a key sales period for retailers and businesses. The economic impact of Christmas is a factor that has grown steadily over the past few centuries in many regions of the world.
