A Gantt chart is chronological bar chart that shows the schedule for a project. Gantt charts depict the beginning and ending dates of a project. The little steps between the beginning and the end are the project's work breakdown structure. Gantt charts can also portray the relationships or dependencies between tasks in the project plan with a little connector line between them. You can also show the schedule's current status by filling in the bars on the bar chart in a manner which fills the bar to the degree that the representative task is complete.
