The Garden Salsa Pepper is ideal for homemade salsa.

The Garden Salsa Peppers heat is medium, measuring in at 5-8 inches long they are also ideal for stuffing.; This hybrid pepper is both heat and disease resistant.; As with most peppers place your seeds about 1/8 below the soil water then place a bit of additional soil.; Place seeds in a warm sunny space they should germinate in about 2-3 weeks.; Take care to keep the seedlings warm ideal germination temperature is 90 degrees.

It is also wise to keep varieties of Peppers at least 30 feet.; You will cross pollinate if you do not.; Not the end of the world but if you plan on harvesting the seeds for next year it could cause some issues.;

So far this year each Garden Salsa plant has produced over fifty 5-10 inch long peppers.; Excellent harvest.; I make sure I water daily and use my Mittleider ;weekly feed; once a week.;

Update this year I harvested over 1100 (yes 1100) Garden Salsa Peppers from just 12 plants.;

    I love hot peppers and currently have a dozen varieties in my garden. Of course I know there are many more and it is fun trying new kinds. I hope to get a greenhouse built just so I can grow some peppers and tomatoes over the winter.

    Bringing in potted pepper plants for the winter...you can bring in your potted jalapeno pepper plants for the winter by simply repotting them in the Fall in a larger pot and placing them in a very sunny window. Over the years the the stem of the plant turns brown and woody, more like a tree than a plant. When spring comes you can put the plant back outside to enjoy the summer. This process can be repeated year after year. My jalapeno plant is 5 feet tall.
