How interesting that you should visit my lens just a few days after my neighbor and I confirmed that we will plant a garden next year! This was genuinely a great lens to me. I look forward to # 3, 4, and 5 :)

Thanks for taking the time to read my 6dgr social network that pays lens. Is this a program that you are interested in?

Nice lens. I grow tomatoes out back and need some help. They start off good then just keel over.

Hi Lizzie, You are right about it being easy. I think that most people are a little hesitant about trying it for the first time, I know I was.

I like to start herbs from seed and raise them in pots on my patio. Its not as hard as people think.
    Great lens

Hi Susan52 and thanks for the welcome. I grew Gardeners Delight tomatos this year and I have to agree, you simply can't beat the taste of home grown. Of course, another big advantage is that they are totally organic so you know exactly what you are giving to your family.

My mother-in-law raised heirloom tomatoes from seeds this year and they were the best-tasting ever. Yes, it's worth the effort! (Welcome to Squidoo!)

Hi WritingforYourWealth and thanks for the welcome. I have looked at some of your lenses and will be following your advice on writing a news letter. I've never written one before, so I'll be keeping a look out for any more advice and guidance you add to this lens
Best of luck with the big yard, I'm sure you'll get as much pleasure from gardening as I have especially if you grow a few vegetables amongst the flowers. Believe me nothing beats the taste of your own home grown organic veg.
