Garmin Nuvi 780 is the best GPS in the world!

How many times have you gotten lost while driving? Most likely, it has happened quite a few times. You get lost even after you have gotten directions from someone. Well, the Garmin nuvi is here to save the day. There are quite a few GPS in the market but the Garmin Nuni 780 ranks number 1 by a country mile!

Ok so maybe I am a litle biased here but I own one so I should be allowed. However, I will describe it as well as 2 other models so you have a choice to make. Get one and say goodbye to being lost again.

#1 Garmin Nuvi 780

The most popular and best model available

Rank: #1
Price: $479 (best price anywhere)
Garmin Nuvi 780

Antenna: internal
Screen" 4.3 inch
Live traffic: $50/year after 3-month trial (plus movie listings, gas prices, weather, stock info, news)
Extras: MP3 player, bluetooth connectivity, anti-theft feature

Overall
Garmin is the industry leader and this is why. you get good routes and traffic info in an easy-to-use format. It's the one to answer 2 common questions: "where am I" and "where's my car". And it has enough extras (love the gas prices, helps save money) to make it worth the cost.

#2 Magellan Maestro 4250

Rank: #2
Price: $289.30
Magellan Maestro 4250

Antenna: external
Screen: 4.3 inch
live traffic: from Navteq, $40/yr after a 3 month trial
Extras: Limited voice recognition, AAA travel info, bluetooth connectivity

Overall
A strong alternative to Garmin especially for value. The interface is not user-friendly, but it does the job. It has voice recognition but you give up the MSN content.

Magellan Maestro 4250

#3 TomTom GO 920T

Rank: #3
Price:$398
TomTom GO 920T

Antenna: internal
Screen: 4.3 inch
Live Traffic: from Clear Channel, $60/year after 1 year trial
Extras: Full voice recognition, bluetooth connectivity with remote control

Overall
Even with working voice recognition, it does not compare to Garmin and Magellan because the interface is not user-friendly. The main menu spreads over 3 screens and the antenna is external.
