Where can same sex couples be legally married?
- Massachusetts, USA: Massachusetts offers equal rights, but because of federal law, some rights are limited (such as federal tax, etc.)

- Denmark: the first country to allow same-sex marriage
- The Netherlands
- Belgium
- Canada
- South Africa: Do you believe this nation, an example of oppression not very long ago, now allows same sex marriage?
- Spain
Civil Unions
- Andorra, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
- New Jersey and Vermont

- Don't for get about New Jersey. It's not the same as Gay Marriage, but their Civil Unions aren't bad.

- Great lens. Loved the intro! California is another place where gay couples who register as domestic partners have fairly extensive legal rights.
