It comes in 3 colors: black, white & nude. You can have all the comforts of a sports bra, the support of an underwire bra, and the style of camisoles.

Kathy A. Mar 25, 2013 @ 1:45 pm | deleteI bought the set of three bras in the largest I could find, 4X, and I am somewhat disappointed by them. It would be nice if the cups were sized, even just S, M, or L. I am large busted (I normally wear a DDD or E cup). The cups on the Genie bra it me like a sports bra or bandeau. I was hoping to be 'lifted and separated), but the triangular piece of fabric between the breasts is stretched tightly and by breasts ae actually pushed together. It is the 'ultimate' minimizer! For the most part, they live up to their claim of 'no bulges' and despite my size, I feel sufficiently supported, but the shoulder straps roll up (they should be cut wider at the top, or in some way reinforced to stay flat, especially for those of us who already have 'dents' in our shoulders. And despite their claim, the chest band still rolls. Perhaps it is because the cups are under so much pressure with large breasts that the band doesn't actually rest around the ribcage but actually is pulled under the breast because there is insufficient fabric to cover a large breast. I wonder whether or not they should 'insert' a non-rolling elastic band in the casing formed by the band. If these two situations were fixed (ie the amount of fabric in the cup increased to accomodate larger breasts, and wider shoulder straps and chest bands) I would happily by them again and recommend them to my friends. I already suggest them to my smaller breasted friends, but I warn others of its limitations. -
Yullabelle Mar 3, 2013 @ 3:04 am | deleteI am not large busted; between and A & B cup, although I am a 38. I got the Large and it was very uncomfortable - way too small. It also came up really high - didn't even look close to the picture. I ended up giving it away. I was really disappointed and after reading some of these reviews I might try a 1X. -
Bonnie Feb 18, 2013 @ 7:53 am | deleteOh, with the padding, they keep falling out in the wash! And it is hard to fit back in right. -
Shelly Mar 3, 2013 @ 12:07 pm | deleteYou are supposed to take the padding out before washing. It will fall apart if you keep washing it -
Pattiann Mar 10, 2013 @ 4:26 pm | deleteGood to know. It didn't say on the box. -
Terri Jan 29, 2013 @ 8:08 am | deleteThese bras are very comfortable but as a small breasted woman (34b) I found without the pads they it is like wearing a sleeping bra, no shape at all through clothes. With the pads great look but soooo hot. I am disappointed they are not for me because the basic idea is great. -
OK in NJ Jan 21, 2013 @ 12:49 am | deleteI have tried the Genie bra as well as a few similar ones. My biggest complaint is the sizing. I wear a Large/XL t-shirt, but after going through several sizes of the bras, I've settled on 3XL. That's quite a difference from what they suggest. Also I have found that the pads always come out of the bras in the wash. Not a big deal, unless they end up being like the proverbial socks that go missing. They are comfortable, but definitely NOT gravity-defying! -
sherrelle Feb 19, 2013 @ 7:52 pm | deleteit's comfortable to wear, but I agree, it is NOT gravity-defying! -
sandra western Jan 19, 2013 @ 7:12 am | deleteI tried the genie bra and it was great I had breast cancer and. Lost a breast this bra has pockets so my prostesis fits nicely and stays in place. Sandi -
I love my Genie Bra, I am a size 38D, so I ordered the 1X, and it fits very nicely. I bought mine from Walmart on Black Friday, and love it, I just ordered three more, and I ordered three of the Genie Underwear, (I hope those are as nice as the bras)... -
Lynda J Jan 4, 2013 @ 9:18 pm | deleteI have arthritis and have been really having hooking either front or rear hooking bras,. A friend at work suggested the Genie bra. I got a black one which was the only one in my size.THANK YOU GENIE BRA. Mine is comfortable gives me good support, especially since I am a D cup. And I don't spend 15 minutes trying to hook hooks. -
Deb Dec 28, 2012 @ 1:08 am | deleteI have been wearing my Genie bras for about 9 months. I found them very comfortble at first but after awhile the band started curling and that is realyy annoying. Also I found them to be very hot and sweaty in the hot summer months. -
Pattiann Mar 10, 2013 @ 4:28 pm | deleteWhat do you want for $10? Buy new ones. -
Angela Nov 29, 2012 @ 2:06 am | deleteI hit the jack pot. I had wanted to try the Genie bra but would not spend the money because of all the mixed reviews. So, while shopping at Walmart on Thanksgiving, they had Genie Bras for $6.00 each. I took the plunge and bought a white and black. I would have got the nude but they were sold out. Tonight I finally remembered to try it on. Well it felt great. I bought 2xl, I wear a 42D in an underwear bra from Lane Bryant and have been having problems with the wires coming out and poking me or worse coming out through my clothes. The Genie bra had a wonderful feel when I put it on, but before I can make a good consumer review I will wear it a couple of times and then come back and post. I don't want to look like I am flat in front so that will also be a deciding factor. But the first initial response was wow, okay this feels great. Looking in the mirror it seems to separate a lot and kinda holds everything in. I will let you all know once I wear it under my t's and sweaters. Just praying that I found the perfect bra. That would be a miracle. Final results to come later. -
I didn't like it. I ordered one. It didn't give my bust a good shape and didn't hide the nips either. I prefer a conventional bra personally. -
Sharon-Pa Nov 14, 2012 @ 7:48 am | deleteI love this bra. I got so tired of trying to pump up my breast with padded under wire bras that hurt. I am a 36 b/c and brought the medium. It works great for me for everyday use and acts as a sports bra when I ride my horses. I don't use it for dressy events due to th straps being so thick, but overall a nice product. -
Linda - PA Nov 6, 2012 @ 1:01 pm | deleteI ordered the Ahh bras in L and they were tight under my arm, so I sold to a friend and ordered the Genie bras in XL and they are also tight under my arm. I'm on the small size 5'3" and 130 lbs and wear a 38C bra, so order LARGE. I'm constantly pulling them down under my arms. -
Visiter Jan 22, 2013 @ 3:05 pm | deleteI also tried the Ahh bra! It cut into my arms too. That's what keeps me from getting the genie bra, that it will do the same. I'm a 36 C and don't know what size to get. I had a med in the Ahh bra it cut real bad! -
Katie D Nov 4, 2012 @ 8:40 pm | deleteI would agree the Genie Bra is comfortable but if you are a large cup (I am DD) it does not have enough support for what gravity has done! -
Elizabeth Jan 23, 2013 @ 5:35 pm | deleteI agree with not enough support. This bra is great to wear under a bulky sweatshirt or around the house. For me the Genie Bra fits like a sports bra minus the support. I would never wear the it under anything fitted. I am size DD, also. -
Cine - Sheldon, IL Nov 3, 2012 @ 9:49 pm | deleteI bought the Genie Bra at Walmart. I like for the comfort. There are no underwires to poke or dig into you. However, I have a little trouble with the pads. I think they need to be sewn into the bra. They want to move up and to the sides at times. I normally wear a 38C bra, and I bought a 2x because the XL was way too tight for me, so was the 1X. I pretty much wear them for everything. -
GenieBraGrl Jan 15, 2013 @ 7:52 pm | deleteThe bras have tiny slits on the inside to insert the pads.Just fold the pads and place them through the holes then once inside unfold them and adjust for proper fit.The slits stretch far enough to get your fingers in them.Remove them before washing.Hand wash them seperatly. The reason why the pads are not sewn into the bra are because not everyone likes padding. -
Michelle Oct 28, 2012 @ 2:46 pm | deleteThe problem I have with all of the bras on the market is that the cups are too far apart and I'm always at risk for a wardrobe malfunction! Mine meet in the middle, like they're supposed to - you know, the way those big busted movie stars look in the old movies.: there is no gap between them. They are NOT pointing toward my armpits!
I'm not even sure of my size as my weight fluctuates. Probably about a 42-44 and DDD cup. Depends on who makes it. I will only wear bras like the Genie Bra (2X) as traditional bras dig into my ribcage (even wire free ones), the hooks at the back press on my spine and show through clothing. Front close would be nice if they don't push your boobs under your armpits.
I wish they'd design a Genie Bra that actually worked for full figured woman: a larger amount of fabric in the cup with more of it towards the middle and perhaps an extra layer of it. The cup pads are curved for smaller cup sizes, so maybe they should just use a nipple guard. It's still the best type of bra on the market, despite its shortcomings. -
Gin Laro Oct 27, 2012 @ 9:18 am | deleteHello ladies, I'm wondering if all the comments are fake on this site but I'll add mine. Before ordering mine, I checked the chart for 42C and ordered the 1x. Arrived in 48 hours but way too tight, hard to breathe, front all squished. I gave all 6 to my small skinny sister and she likes them. Then I ordered the 2x. Still too tight and still squished, so I sent them back. Good news is, the return procedure worked perfectly, got a confirmation e-mail that they received them within 3 days, and got full refund (less shipping costs) 2 weeks later. In the meantime, I tried to order 3X or 4x, no stock left. So I ordered the 3x from a similar company in Hong Kong at one third the price. Sorry Genie Bra. -
Clarice Oct 25, 2012 @ 1:29 pm | deleteJust picked up a couple Genie bras when I was at Walmart. I saw them and thought to myself, I wish I could wear those, but I doubt that they come in my size. (34 G-H, not sure since I haven't been fitted for over a year and I'm still nursing a toddler) I was seriously sick and tired of my other bras, I had to wear my worn out, uncomfortable nursing bras, I hated how I looked in them. I've spent big bucks on nursing bras at Nordstroms and I'm so over it now. So back to the review, I picked up a Genie bra package and to my utter surprise, the Medium size actually claimed to fit 34 G! So I bought two bras in pink and black. I have to say that I am loving how comfortable they are and would recommend them to any nursing or non-nursing woman. So easy to put on, feels so comfortable, and when I need to nurse my little one I can just pull it up and then back down when she is finished. And at $10 per bra you cannot go wrong. - Load More
