Get Traffic to Your Website

You have created your own website. Great !
You are proud. Right !
But....nobody knows about it.

You can mail your family and friends and send the link of your website so they can check it out.

But that are only a few people and that is not enough and i think - especially if you want to start an online business - you want much more visitors on your website.

The best choice is to bring Your Website into GOOGLE. But have your tried already to get a site into GOOGLE through the normal Add-A-Site-To-Google process ? Means going to GOOGLE and fill out the form to have your site added ? It does not work.
That is a waste of time. You will not get your site into GOOGLE during the next half year.

But i can show you how to get Your Website shown in GOOGLE in a few hours only. Let us say, it will take a day. Really sometimes i have sites added into GOOGLE in 20 minutes ! No joke. You can test it yourself.

I will show you 3 options to get your site listed the same day !

1. Add a Classified Ad at UsFreeAds.com

UsFreeAds can be used for free but not very comfortable. If you want to use it more professional you should upgrade for $ 9.95 per month.
Very worthful tool -:)

2. Write a lens on Squidoo. GOOGLE loves Squidoo.

3. Write a hub. Hubpages are similar to Squidoo but you cannot add advertising.

You can choose all three options to get your website indexed into GOOGLE faster.

Now Your site is indexed at GOOGLE perhaps already at YAHOO and MSN, too.

But which position has your site ? Enter a keyword Your site contains and try to find your site. You will not find it. You can go from site 1 to site 100 without finding your site.

When you enter your site name in the search field, Your site will be found and shown. Normally Your site will be found one time, perhaps 2 or 3 times.

It is normal that Your site cannot be found under the first sites of your choosen keywords because Your site is not linked back from other sites.

That we must change now.

First, choose some keywords where you want Your site to be found.

There is a free GOOGLE - Tool KeywordToolExternal which is free to use.

Some Tips about using the right keywords:

Do not use: 'online business' or 'make money' because the competition is so strong, that you will not be found on the first sites. There are big companies with thousands of back links.

What you should do: Look at keywords or keyword phrases which are searched not more than 2000 until 5000 times a month. That will be the right keywords for you to get your site up at GOOGLE.

These keywords you choose should be also found near the top of Your site, so when you have choosen which keywords you want to take, make sure, theses are also on the top of your site !

Now, when you have choosen your keywords, we will start to bookmark Your site to social bookmarking sites like Digg.com, Del.iciio.us and Technorati.com.

Therefore we will take a free tool that we can use to bookmark every site to about 47 social bookmarking sites.

We use socialmarker

On the left side of the socialmarker website is a short description how to use. On the right side there are all social bookmarking sites listed you can send your site to. At first you have to join every bookmarking site which takes some time.

I suggest you join every bookmarking site with the same details like username and password that will reduce your work when submitting your site later.

After your have signed up all the bookmarking sites, you are ready to start submitting Your site.

On the upper right site you see a blue case 'Bookmark Details'
Fill out the fields with the details of Your site
and then click on the upper right tab 'submit' and on the next site start submitting your site.

Something you need to know:

It may be, that some hours after you have submitted Your site to the bookmarking sites, Your site will be found on the third of fourth site of GOOGLE under some of your keywords. Maybe not the main keywords you have choosen. And it may also be that you will find by mistake find Your site under keywords you do not have choosen -:) That does not matter.

But: The next day or the day after Your site will no more be found on site 3 or 4 of GOOGLE. It will be somewhere more behind. DO NOT WORRY ! That normal.

What you should do: Add more content to Your site. Every day ! That may be only a new link to another site. Or correct a typo, or add an article. That will be recognized as an update to your site by the search engine robots adn that will count for better positions of Your site.

Some days later you will see your site coming back to site 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 on GOOGLE. That depends on your keywords. That should be happen during a week after you have submitted Your site to the bookmarking sites.
